Love & Dating: Isn’t it Ironic?

I was reading a post today from my buddy David Berry titled “The Late 20’s Dating Disaster, which got some legitimate LOL’s out of me.

…After aggressively damaging the female population’s perception of men for the better part of five years, men start wondering why girls are so jaded towards them and, ironically, desperate to marry them.

The reason why this blog is so funny is because it’s true. Sadly, I find that much of the time we spent trying to find someone to love, we really should have spent time finding ourselves. Truth is, you had someone to love all along. YOUAs cheesy and cliche as it sounds, until you learn to do that (love yourself), you’re barely capable of truly loving someone else.

As far as finding the love of your life, I also read an interesting post from Jack Lee, called “The Secret of Soul Mates” where he writes:

The purpose of soul mates is for two soul to come together to fulfill a purpose greater than themselves.

As you find and live your purpose and go along that path, your soul mate will have a similar purpose and also be drawn to that same path.  That’s how you find each other.  So, If you want to find your soul mate, find your purpose (i.e.yourself).  How do you find your purpose?  I will leave that for another post … For now, Happy Hunting. 😉

That’s exactly how my (soon-to-be) wife found me, and what she coaches others to do. Thanks for the reminder!

  2. Ok have to admit this sure is sexy. I have a lot to say on every type of Dating,Love, realshonships. In no way an expert, I at 50 do not believe in the word expert meaning a person knows all or most? We never stop learning. What I can do is offer much experience in the matter.
